Did you read that part about the selling of the franchise? I sure as **** did and while it's tempting in the short-term to "har-har Donkey gotta' sell his team", what happens if and when the NFL equivalent of Marc Cuban buys that piece of shit and lives night and day for the acquisition of Lombardi trophies?
Sure, it's a long shot. But it's a shot. And as someone who lives along the fringes of Donk country, I can tell you it wouldn't take much to get everybody back on board and the clothing racks at the local stores stocked full of that orange trash again.
And, God-forbid they couple an aggressive ownership with a legit coach and GM who actually knows how to assess talent. The Chiefs have Mahomes and that's good for at least 1/2 of any and all battles. They also have "Comfy Clark" and the Buffet Bandit.
If just a few of the cards fall in the right place out in Dorkoville, things could get very ugly in the AFCW again. Not that it isn't ugly as **** already, we'll just be facing more adversity within the division again.
With Veach picking players and cutting deals.
With Andy doing his..."thing".
And with Clark doing nothing.
