Love the ballsy blitz packages. Love that they are now trying to dictate what the offense does instead of sitting back and reacting.
We keep stopping the run and play like this, we are going to fist the Patriots.

It was like a switch was flipped for the Denver game. Until then it had been a lot of base coverage, standard man-man, 4-man rush and soft zone. And we couldn't stop the run for shit.
Enter the Denver game and it was like an entirely different defense all the way around. Yes we are blitzing more and getting some good pressure even with a 4 man rush but 2 of the biggest difference I have see are:
1. Assignment discipline
2. Violent tackling
We are playing our assignments better across the board and we are ****ing hitting guys. We are stuffing the run and blasting ****ers in the open field.
I don't remember the last time we forced 8 punts with Mahomes as the QB. Indy playoffs maybe or the Cinci game?
You force 8 punts in a game with a healthy Mahomes and Reek and shit is about to get nasty.
