Ogletree is damn near letter perfect.
I just don't know how they can fit him into the cap going forward. They can bite a pretty nasty bullet and June 1 Hitchens w/ marginal damage to the 2020 cap (and a pretty significant shot to the 2021 cap). He's played the Mike in a 4-3 and is a converted college safety so he's comfortable in space.
I just wish they'd lop about $3 million/season off those base salaries over the next 2 years. Paying $19 million for Ogletree over '20 and '21 doesn't do much for me, especially not with the asset cost of acquiring him.
Ogletree is probably a nice player to have at $6.5-7 million per but at $9.5 million per he's probably not gonna play to the level of his cap hit.
