I can't understand for the life of me, how you actually believe that Veach is just sitting on his hands because a trade hasn't happened. He has been trying since this time last year to trade for Patrick Peterson, but the Cards won't trade him. He nearly had a deal done for Earl Thomas before he got injured. He tried to get Jalen Ramsey, but the Jags wouldn't trade with him at any price. He tried to trade for Fitzpatrick, but the Steelers have a better draft position. It takes both sides to make a deal. Veach has been making every effort to trade for secondary help. It just hasn't worked out. That is NOT sitting on his hands.
