Detroit did everything they wanted today. They knocked Mahomes around, they threw off his timing, and they forced him to beat them in a way that he didn’t want to. The Lions did everything right. And it didn’t matter.
Mahomes proved again today that he is inevitable.
Dak couldn’t do it tonight, Rodgers couldn’t finish the job on Thursday, and Phyllis failed in the exact same situation in Detroit two weeks ago.
Patrick Mahomes didn’t fail. With the game on the line, despite a subpar performance up to that point, he dragged his nuts across the Lions face and marched down the field for the go ahead score.
Mahomes is special. We are in very good hands for a long time.
