My little 18 ft Bass boat isn't made for 4 and 5 foot swells. we set 26 jug lines and caught 4 catfish but lost 4 lines because they were drug out to sea by some huge creature.
Had to do a lot of dock fishing and caught a lot of 3-8 pound cats but didn't capture any pic's. The dock there where all the guides come in and clean the fish produces a LOT of 30-60 pound Blue Cats but we didn't get one.
I did hook a gar about 6 feet long but lost him at the boat. He's lucky because I was gonna beat the hell out of him with my ball bat.

Yeah all the rain, wind and muddied water certainly isn’t helping anything up here
Sounds like the guides put out a daily blue cat buffet with all the scraps they chuck in the water... always wanted to catch a big ol gar, they’re supposedly excellent eating
