Since we're doing the Dorsey debate again... I have another topic I'd like to explore...

Chris Ballard. He's pretty good. I'm not calling him bad or even mediocre. He's a solid, damn good GM.

But Christ... the dick sucking people are doing to this guy. Whenever the Colts are brought up in conversation, a bunch of assholes start saying shit like, "Ballard might be the best GM in the league..." or "Ballard is a top 3 GM hands down..."

He took over a team with a gimped Andrew Luck, which consequently started sucking, forcing the Colts to actually draft a team around their QB instead of just ****ing around with random shitty WRs. And he has hit on a bunch of their picks. Like, sure... good for him.

Top 3? Why? Christ... the Colts are pretty close to being legit challengers to the Chiefs and the Patriots in the AFC all while their QB's mega contract now has some age on it and is turning into somewhat of a bargain.

And they basically choose to stand pat in free agency? ****ing seriously? With THAT MUCH ****ing cap room they're just going to sit on their hands?

Even notorious cheapskates like Ted Thompson would spend it on free agents whenever he actually had the money available.

Like, there are the Brett Veach GMs. Super aggressive. At times he misfires, but when he hits on something, he gets what he wants. Spends his resources. And then there are Chris Ballards who have enough cap room to make Solomon blush and all they do is stick their fingers up their butts.
