Just a fun little story. My wife and I attended the Harry Connick jr concert here in Springfield, last night. At one point, his drummer yelled “who dat”, and Harry said “I don’t think anyone here knows about ‘who dat’.” (Harry is a huge Saints fan) Then he said “were you all Rams fans?” And the crowd lost their minds, everyone yelling Chiiiieeeeefs, like it was the end of the National Anthem. Lol Then he said “okay, the Chiefs. Man I love Mahomes!” Then he started mimicking no look passes all over the place. He said “What is he doing? He’s a magician out there! I’m just glad the Chiefs aren’t in the NFC.” Then, all you could hear for the next minute was people just talking to each other about Pat and how amazing he is. It’s moments like that, that makes you sit back and say, I just can’t believe we actually have this guy!
By the way, if you like jazz, Harry puts on a hell of a show! This is the second concert of his that I’ve been to, and it was even better than the first. I highly recommend it!
