Kelce will get his eventually. Some games he's going to be unstoppable and this won't really be remembered. Everyone has bad games, and I'm not sure he really had a bad game, other than that bad drop he had. He just didn't get a lot of looks.
Teams are going to dare Mahomes to beat them, until it gets to the point they realize that's no longer a good idea. All through camp Kelce was Mahomes' safety net. Teams already know this, they know what Kelce is to the Chiefs offense and what he brings to the table. It's not rocket science. Take away Kelce/Mahomes' safety net, and dare the kid to beat you other ways.
Well, he found another way...and the Chargers had a major Tyreek Hill problem on Sunday. It's going to be tough for teams this yr to focus stopping just one player due to the level of talent this team has at the skilled positions. Kelce's numbers won't matter if the Chiefs are winning and scoring close to 40ppg.
