Meh, I'm not that het up. I was fairly sure you were just breaking balls. It's just that over time I've learned not to put too much stock into people I've seen do good work just because they find themselves in a clunker.
So much is fine-tuned in the cinematography, edit, and now special effects that many actors have no idea what their product is like until they see it on screen just the the rest of us.
Hollywood is filled with stories of great concepts that people gave good performances towards that were ruined somewhere along the line by a wild hair by the director, or bad timing, or cheesy effects, or a wrongly cut crucial scene.
Eddie in particular, I think, has been unfairly dinged for 'losing it.' He's had plenty of material interpersed to show he still has it. He just gets talked into poorly thoughht out projects every once in a while. Maybe he needs a better team of advisors, but that's different from losing it.
