When you lose, you start to become desperate for solutions. Anything that has a faint glint in a pile of trash starts to look like the Hope diamond, until you actually pick it up and examine it and you discover it's nothing more than a fresh moist turd.
Kranz right now is DESPERATE, and it's only been a few years since Peyton left. He's just plain delusional. He won't even entertain the idea that we're right. Of course we're right. That's how 99.9% of these QBs end up looking in 3rd and 4th quarters of games. Kelly isn't even as impressive as Sloter was last year, but that's not stopping him from believing in that squishy turd he's going to put up on E-bay.

Were any of those bums related to a guy who went to 4 straight SB's?
The other thing you forget is that Kelly was a redshirt due to his knee injury. He would have been a 2nd round pick or better if teams thought he could play right away. John had the luxury of taking him with the last of multiple 7ths rather than have him hit UDFA.
