I don't get the narrative that the Chargers have more talent or are better than the Chiefs, unless it is purely based on Rivers > Mahomes, which has merits at this point as Rivers is proven and Mahomes is not.
I believe the Chiefs offense roster is a bit better than the Chergers'.
The defenses are pretty much a push going into next year. I like the Chiefs' front 7 better but like SD's secondary better.
I guess one could argue the SD's defense is better by a hair but really there is not much difference IMO on paper at least.
