- this, coupled with the memory of JCPenney from the Schlitterbon thread reminded me. The captain of our security would bring in 2 dozen LaMars and put them behind the desk with all the security monitors. These were brought in right when we switched from night shift to day.
There was this geezer on day shift who would hover over the box, snuffling and wiping his nose with the back of his hand, before he'd pick out a donut.
It was a weekly race against the clock to finish our night shift duties and get to that box before he shambled in.
