Good ****ing god, teams want to get their draftees under contract as soon as possible so that they can participate in OTA's and minicamps.

Well that's just dumb. Every team is assigned a Rookie Salary Cap each year and
teams need to have salary cap space in order to sign their rookies, plain and simple.
