It looked awful at times last year, but VJ was a first time HC who had rookie coordinators on defense and special teams. On offense, he had a porous OL, and a bunch of young QB's who couldn't stop turning the ball over. He was in a tough spot.
We'll find out what VJ can do now that he has a vet QB and a year of experience under his belt. If it starts looking like a repeat of last year he should be fired.
