You won’t be be able to do that for 2 years. That’s half the timeframe considering a top 5 picks 5th year option will be expensive.

If the Broncos draft Rosen then the Keenum contract is nothing more than a very expensive insurance contract, and essentially the Broncos will be paying Keenum $25m to be a back up QB. But, that’s the chance the Broncos have to take to insure the QB position is viable. If the Broncos trade down and take a QB in the first or second round it’s because he’s not ready to start anyway
