In fact, the Chiefs pass protection ratings were all flawed, too! They should be ranked MUCH lower. MUCH MUCH lower.
It's just amazing that with all those shitheads ****ing everything up around him Alex Smith managed to drag the Chiefs to a Top 5 season on offense.
Dumbass.

Now we're getting into the PFF bullshit stats, but guess what-- Sandy, Tigger, and ChiefsPASquirrelTits' precious passer rating stat is nothing more than a made-up advanced metric of sorts as well.
This shit puts to bed any notion at all that Alex Smith is some precious commodity that we're really going to miss. If Smith's supporting cast of offensive weapons puts up remotely a HINT of the efficiency they did in 2017, Mahomes will probably dwarf Alex Smith in passing yards and TDs in 2018. He's probably going to ****ing push 5000, I imagine.

I'm just kicking back, waiting for the inevitable "head removal"-highlight clip.
Might actually put that one in the family album.

As SNR pointed out, there were several dominoes that had to fall in to place in order to make that trade happen. Yes, the Chiefs did FINALLY get some luck to go with their planning.
"Planning". "Chiefs". Yep, there's two words that didn't go together until Dorsey arrived. Glad Veach is around to keep it moving forward.
