Here, I will spell it out in PLAIN ENGLISH and type s-l-o-w-l-y so you can understand.

When a group of football fans correspond together on a forum, they have certain things in common. If they are on the forum long enough, they have a shared joy or suffering. In this case you have a shared suffering with KC fans who have not won the Super Bowl in 50 years.

So they do not want their discussions about the team and speculation about how the team is making progress, to be polluted -- constantly in fact -- by a bunch of people who have nothing in common with them because they are in fact NOT FANS OF THE TEAM.

I can't make it any clearer than that.

I don't see anybody calling out for a Safe Space on this ****ing chaotic, godforsaken, no rules apply barroom brawl they call a forum here, but I am pretty sure that at least they want to go toe to toe with people who at least are FELLOW FANS OF THE TEAM.

Is that ****ing too much to ask? Not that non-Chiefs fans aren't welcomed here. They just don't want us non-Chiefs fans to go around telling them how they should feel about their team and their struggles and their frustration after 50 years without a super bowl win.

Capice? No? No, probably not.

I'd say this forum houses as many non-chief fan regulars as any sports team message board does.
