I've never thought Allen was a top 5 pick.
I wouldn't touch him before the late 3rd round, and I'd only take him then if I could afford to sit him for 2-3 years, if not forever as a backup.
He's a more gifted Christian Hackenberg. Those guys are never going to become good QBs, why draft them? Especially early.
