I think it was a pretty good throw by Smith, but the decision to go deep when you need 9 yards for a first down...just seems like a bad decision whether it came from Reid/Nagy or Alex himself. 3rd and 4th down were flat out botched.

I've posted it multiple times, just look at the route combo. Why is the only viable option versus Cover 2 on that play a post 30 yards downfield? Alex led the league in deep passing completion % and it was 56%... the most crucial play in the game and you go with a route that's as likely to be completed as a coin toss
