Stats can be very deceiving(see Alex Smith and our defenses from the last 4 yrs
) How old are you guys ?? Do even remember the Chiefs defenses in the early to mid 90's. Those defenses were ELITE !! And our defenses since 98 to the present don't even come close to those 90's defenses.
You resort to "bend but don't break defensive schemes" when you don't have talent or very little talent at key positions.
