I'm calling bullshit on your garbage of a team trading for him then franchising him to trade him. That will NEVER happen.
There are only 2 outcomes for the team that trades for Smith. 1) They trade for him and extend him to a modest stop gap deal for maybe 3 years, 2) They trade for him to mentor a QB they just drafted in the top 10 and let him walk after the season.
You simply ****ed up by saying the team will then flip him when he wont be under contract any more and then doubled down on your stupid by bringing up the franchise tag.
