I thought it was great to see his teammates surround him on the sidelines. And Peters trying hard to pump up the fans. It looked like Peters loved playing the game again and that's a great thing. The INTs were great, but what was even better were multiple pass breakups. Keenan Allen has been carving corners up all season and Peters made him his bitch last night.
If we're being fair, Peters didn't tackle great. But I don't think he was avoiding tackles like we've seen in the past. He made a pretty big run stop in the backfield earlier in the game and his 3rd down tackle in the 4th quarter may have sealed the game. That was encouraging. I don't think he's a cancer. His teammates seem to love him. He just lost himself and to his credit, he found himself. What can't be denied is that when he's at his best, he's one hell of a talent.
