If Reid were going to make a QB switch it will be the Raiders game at home. And this will really only happen if they lose to the Jets and Smiff looks putrid again.
The Loss will have the Chiefs tied in the division with the Raiders and the Chargers if they both win. The Raiders face the Giants and the Chargers play the Browns. So yea I think they are winning.
If the Chiefs are tied then that removes the "Well you don't make a QB change if you are leading the division" mantra that has been stated concerning removing Smiff.
Also the 3 home game stretch is The Raiders, The Chargers and the Dolphins. It is better to bring in Mahomes in a friendly environment then say the Jets at the Meadowlands.
