No, Denver. That's not how it ****ing works. Your team can finish 4-12, get the #5 pick, and wind up in a draft where Matt Ryan goes #5 and the next best option is Joe Flacco, who at the time is thought of by draft prognosticators as a 2nd round QB.
Next year if you go 2-14, you'll only be able to secure the #3 overall pick because it was a year that saw a ****ing team go 0-16. And there's only one good QB at the top in that draft, too.
Next year another 4-12 year? Nope. Sam Bradford's the best option you got, and he's going #1 overall.
THAT'S how the NFL works. You have zero ****ing power to control it.
