Now the reality has set in and time to accept it... from my point of view, the team should focus on what makes them stronger 2 years from now. Spend the remaining games figuring out who to keep and if the dollars are worth it. Focus on moving out the older expensive guys, trade them or cut them - whatever makes sense. Build around a core, there's a good one there and just hit refresh.
They've lost 5 ugly games in a row and they have exhibited no real fight. So, accept it and move on. Shit happens. I'm not going to get bent out of shape over it, it's been a hell of a ride since 2011. Eat the 2017 season and focus on building a true contender. Lots of core guys there with 3-5 years left in them, move on and have some fun with a restructure.
And, find a guy to help build the draft strategy...
They should just let Lynch play the remaining games and prove whether or not he's worth anything, it's not like the other two are going to be that much better. Play it out and move on.
