NOT FOR ME.

Always up for suggestions though.
I like BBQ, but I wouldn't call it a great bourbon barrel beer (or maybe it is for a quad)... and IMO it doesn't get much better with age like most bourbon stouts.

- BCS - Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, released on Black Friday ( ).. it used to border on too boozy to drink right away (compared to how much better it was 6-8 months later), but in the past couple years it seems like they've been aging it longer before release. Either way, buy two... drink one soon, forget about the other for 8+ months.

- ODell Jolly Russian.... rum barrels, actually, but is right up there with BCS, and I've found it in Phoenix on multiple occasions.

- Any bourbon barrel aged stout from Ballast Point

- Modern Times Monsters' Park Aged In Bourbon Barrels... I haven't had the bourbon variety, but Monster's Park is amazing (and $33)

- KBS - Founders Kentucky Bourbon Stout.... I don't go out of my way to buy it, but it's really popular and I found it in Phoenix several months ago.

- New Holland Dragon’s Milk.... not sure if they distribute in AZ... some years are significantly better than others, but when it's good, it's really ****ing good. And their reserve stuff is expensive, but even better.

- Epic Big Bad Baptist.... I've only had it once in LA and haven't seen it in Phoenix, but it was pretty great. Apparently a place called Magnum's Speakeasy in Phoenix has it, but a name like that scares me a little.

- Evil Twin Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Biscotti Break... another rarity, saw it once in KC. Think I've seen Evil Twin around here, but not that one.

Damn, I was thinking so hard about bourbon stouts, I completely forgot about dinner... my carne asada is now closer to beef jerky...... enjoy, asshole!
