McCoy runs the offense, I'm sure there are things he runs by VJ or implements based on feedback. But, it's McCoy's scheme with Musgrave helping the QBs. They certanly did all they could to put coaches and a system in place to make Lynch a viable option. Lynch failed... Trevor, by all accounts, wasn't necessarily expected to be the guy to win the job with all this happening.
So, did he win it... did Lynch lose it? I think it's both. Lynch failed to win the job and Trevor did nothing to lose it, he played well. Did he light the world on fire? No... it's preseason.
McCoy is a good OC, we'll see how the changes in his offense are accepted and what the results are soon enough.
