I watched Collateral damage. That kind of movie normally isn't my thing but it was pretty good. Top notch acting out of everyone. Even Smith. Pretty intelligent film and did an awful lot of things right.

And it took me out of it. All those damned interviews he did about not doing for the kids and whatever that I thought were lame were now even MORE lame because he sold out the kids. Or whatever. Probably not that big of a deal but back in the 90s I was soooo tired of hearing about it.

So I am to presume then that

Those three actors were actually time death and love? And they were helping Not only Smith but the other 3 as well? Hellen Mirens character shows up for Smits wife when the kid dies, the play doesn't get done. Nobody else sees them even when Smith melts down and they were all 3 incredibly enlightened on their subject matter.

If it's not it's pretty damned lame. No actors I've met are nearly that philosophical. Some were pretentious douches and thought they were but nobody was that thoughtful and enlightened.
