When I came to CP, I believed Herm was as good as any coach, and that Thigpen could be a legit QB in time.
I was a 100%, idiot True Fan.
Milkman and Rust Shack promptly beat the piss out of my True Fan tendencies, and posters like Mecca and Hamas slowly schooled me over time in regards to what it takes to make a modern NFL team do more than just show up on Sunday and hope for the best.
The Peeholi wars were far and away the most magnificent time in CP history, though not for the team itself of course. Souls were scorched and armor forged during this time. The weak were weeded the **** out, and firmly established guidelines for franchise expectation and operation were established. The insta-winning of Reid and Co. softened some of the lesser and more easily pleased folk around here, but there are, thankfully, still some stone cold exacting mother****ers up in this joint who aren't so easily fooled.
CP will be what it has always been:
The unvarnished truth of the Kansas City Chiefs experience.
