I think this team will be somewhere near 6-4, and then those following few games will determine if they remain in the playoff hunt or not. If KC is sitting at 7-7, Mahomes needs to play.
9-7 is worst case scenario IMO.

The Chiefs have by far the best coaching staff in the division and a top 5 talented roster overall.
The Broncos and Chargers have brand new coaching staffs and the Andy Reid is JDR's father.

We have an enormous advantage before the first snap is even played.
