I'd be surprised if this was about money, especially since Reid and Dorsey share the same agent.
It's more plausible that Clark demanded loyalty to the Chiefs, Dorsey refused and Clark said "Get the **** out".

And money cures it. There's absolutely an amount that could have been paid to fix that. There's no way, absolutely none, that you can't give him an amount sufficient to make him walk away from a mere CHANCE at the job. Because all that out clause is - a chance. He's not going to dig his heels in and risk losing his job over a chance at getting a job that already has at least 2 very qualified internal candidates in the running.
Clark Hunt is a silver spoon product of inheritance money borne of cornering markets. Money isn't an issue for him.
Like I said - he'd better be ****ing right because this is foolhardy at best. You don't disrupt the course when your team has more momentum than it's had in at least 20 years and arguably longer.
If it was Reid, **** him. If it was Clark, **** him too. I don't care who it was at this point but they'd better goddamn win because this is horseshit. This is walking right out to the edge of the limb and turning around with the saw. I don't think it'll work out for them how they think it will.
