John Dorsey wasn't going to turn down a potential long-term extension worth tens of millions of dollars because he wanted a CHANCE at returning to Green Bay. And sooner or later, when [Y] gets big enough, the deal gets done. Unless this was a bitch-fit, it was a money thing. And neither of them are acceptable.

But we see it all the time in sports. Regardless of the position, guys have built in clauses for their "Dream Job".
I'd be surprised if this was about money, especially since Reid and Dorsey share the same agent.
It's more plausible that Clark demanded loyalty to the Chiefs, Dorsey refused and Clark said "Get the **** out".
