John Dorsey wasn't going to turn down a potential long-term extension worth tens of millions of dollars because he wanted a CHANCE at returning to Green Bay. If [X] dollars has Dorsey saying "no, I want an out of the GB job opens up" then say "You may have [X]+[Y] to forego that chance at a job you may very well not even get...."
And sooner or later, when [Y] gets big enough, the deal gets done. Unless this was a bitch-fit, it was a money thing. And neither of them are acceptable.
John Dorsey should still be this franchise's GM.
