If Hill can duplicate what Maclin gave us in '15 as a true threat at the Z, then all you need to replace is what the collection of misfit parts in the slot gave us that year (so what Wilson and a rookie Conley managed).

Sure, Robinson could manage that pretty easily.

If anyone is going to make this easy to deal with, it will be Hill. And if he does, the ceiling on the offense is actually HIGHER than it's been in years because guys like Robinson and a more battle-tested Conley have far more potential for production in the X and Y roles than the guys we were running out there in '15 across from a healthy Maclin.

And if he can't, there's no making up for not having a reliable Z receiver in this offense. It really limits what you can do with the system that way. It won't be Robinson (he may have improved, but not that much) and I doubt it can be Conley because he lacks the fluidity. This will come down to Hill's ability to take the reins.
