They kept 4 tight ends last season, which to me, was a reflection of not having much at the position as opposed to a solid #2 and #3. If two tight ends can separate themselves behind Keclce, it would go a long way in providing depth at a more crucial position.

Plus, we don't know if Kelce is going to be 100% ready to go with his surgery for preseason. I assume he will and it's not a big deal, but it's not a bad idea to keep some able bodies at the position on hand.
