I think Andy and John saw an injury prone receiver that couldn't justify his salary and knew we had the resources to make him expendable.
Conley was the 3rd WR last year and had about the same amount of yards as Maclin. Wilson had the same amount of TD's. It's a hell of a bargain to keep those 2 combine for $12 million less.
It was also interesting to hear our scout say that Chesson doesn't need much development bc he's knowledgeable of the game from his time at Michigan.
