The franchise has an obligation to field superior product and to conduct itself in a manner befitting a modern NFL franchise, WHICH up until recently, they have not.

I've never told anyone what kind of fan to be. You're the only one I've busted on because you took the step of formally and explicitly renouncing any and all interest in the Chiefs organization.
But this place has been rife with people making any and all enjoyment of the Chiefs impossible because they spend their every waking moment bitching because the franchise sucessess and failures were not completely on their terms. And they spend the remainder of their time deriding anyone who even hints at enjoying the Chiefs as mediocrity loving BBQ scarfing inbred flyover rubes.
And to accomplish this goal, you have to incessantly lie about the positions of people you disagree with and lie about your own positions, with the exception of the one and only thing that has ever mattered to you. Picking a QB, any QB early [and hopefully for you, in the future often] in the draft.
