The key is I try to only start Royals GDTs when Duffy is pitching.
The Royals were a bit up and down throughout 2015, and there was a game where our bullpen was absolutely 100% smoked. I think Ned only had like two guys available to come out of the pen, and one of them was Blanton. Win or lose, we needed a long game from Duffy at a time when he wasn't doing so hot on the mound.
The dude came in and gave us 8 innings. Royals win.
I'm definitely feeling the Duffy mojo!
