Those poor young men. Just a damn nice shame.

Tuesday, a 42-year-old California woman was arrested on rape charges after allegedly having sex with three underage Mount Shasta High School football players.

The suspect, Mary Frances Fletcher, who also goes by Debbie, reportedly met the male students while working with the football team's photographer, says Siskiyou County Sheriff Jon Lopey.

“It was kind of a chance encounter and she evidently developed a relationship with the boys at a later time,” said Lopey.

The woman had sex with the males at undisclosed locations within the county, though "there’s no evidence the alleged sexual contact occurred on school grounds or involved school employees," Lopey told The New York Post.

Fletcher was first investigated last September, after the Mount Shasta Police Department received a complaint on the matter. An investigation would later reveal that Fletcher's alleged sexual encounters with the high schoolers happened throughout the county, several weeks prior to the complaint.

Adding to the rape charges, Fletcher also faces a charge for allegedly dissuading a witness, who may or may not be a victim.
