Dude is that what you thing you are reading? People have fairly put the blame all over the place. Alex made a ton of mistakes in that game, but it is his whole body of work that is making people call this enough.
It was not just throws for Alex. His delay of game was HORRIFIC and for a veteran QB in that spot, it was OUTRAGEOUS. I don't have enough adjectives to adequately describe it. And of course he doesn't make up for the mistake. We punt. The time out. Lets just say when Andy Reid is shocked you are calling time out, well what does that say?
It wasn't his fault for being on the 2nd 2pt conversion, but we had 2 players wide open and he didn't even look. He thought triple coverage on Maclin was cool. He just isn't good enough to make up for mistakes and mistakes are going to happen.
Again, the drops were as egregious as anything Alex did but this isn't about one game. I would say most objective people who are not KC fans see the truth. Certainly people around here do. Some KC fans may never see it, but that's fine. We just need Dorsey to see the light. If Alex starts next year because we don't have better, whatever. I'm not thrilled with Foles. But this offseason has to be full speed ahead on replacing Smith.
