This question is answered. Again, I'm not holding him to the standard of Brady, but the Pats didn't even try in the 4th quarter.
In a game where you were losing almost the whole game and the running game couldn't get on track, 300+ yards should have been simple.
If Brady needed 500 in that game, he'd have had it. Smith needed 300 and couldn't swing it.
The book is closed here, IMO. Time to move on.
