I was 25 when the Royals won the World Series in 1985 & I was 10 when the Chiefs won the Super Bowl.

I had given up on the Royals but I don't think I ever will the Chiefs because they have had seasons like this one every few years while the Royals were dreadful for too many years.

I cried when the Royals won in 2015...I'm not sure what I would do if the Chiefs won the Super Bowl. I've told everyone that I could just keel over & die because in all honesty the Chiefs were my first love & football has always been my sport, while baseball is a nice filler between the sports. I've watched the Chiefs religiously since 1966 while I didn't get into baseball until the 1970 season. I've watched all 50 Super Bowl's & every World Series since 1970.

My analogy is that the Chiefs are my wife & the Royals are my mistress.

If I had to give one up, it would be the Royals.
