Ask yourself this, if Tiger was doing the same thing he's doing now only it was about umm ... let's say Chris Conley. He was pimping Chris Conley nonstop, would anyone even notice not to mention care about it?
No, it's only because it's the dreaded and hated Alex Smith that fuels all this shit.
People can't stand Alex Smith, just like they couldn't stand Matt Cassel and just like they won't be able to stand the next QB or the next.
Until we have a stud like Aaron Rodger, people around here will be hating the QB of the Kansas City Chiefs.

We have weirdos like that all the time. Ever heard of ScanFan? StartCroyle? Weirdos who stick up for random players?
People notice that shit and mention it, but it's usually to make fun of people and have a good time, because it's usually kind of ridiculous.
Alex Smith is a polarizing QB.
"But he's a nice guy!"
We don't know him as Alex Smith the nice guy. We know him as Alex Smith the dweebazoid with the soft punchable pouty face who goes, "oooodoooooohhhhh" whenever he takes one of his 5000 sacks per game with a clean pocket or throws a pass away when he has a guy streaming wide open downfield. We also know him as Alex Smith the guy who only ever has the same tired ****ing cliches written about him from national media and even posters on this very forum. "He's not the prettiest QB, but he'll get the job done..." or "He is what he is." God that one pisses me the **** off. "He is what he is." You know who else is what they are? Every ****ing thing that ****ing exists in this universe of ours.
It's completely different from Tiger championing Chris Conley and you know the **** why.
