Part of it too is my grandpa's hatred of chicken. He wasn't vocal about it, but for him, he spent his youth [WWII] in the Aleutians and the South Pacific eating gray chicken out of government barrels. So I grew up learning to beam with satisfaction at a steak on my plate and grimace at the sight of a chicken breast.
So what I guess I'm getting at is that I'm not asserting that KFC is objectively bad, or even worse than other stuff. Just one of the few things out there I'm personally finicky about.
