Wept like a baby multiple times today. Wife and I decided to do something to take our mid off it and tried bowling at 11am......but apparently every lane in the city was occupied. Shitty day, but glad. My Oscar dog is free from pain. Was there with him when he got the shot and watched his eyes go silent. He had his blanket ad collar (he hated to be without it). Was there when his heart stopped.....I owed it to him to be there when he crossed over. 14years of a great dog. 35% of my life.

Sorry to hear it, but understand being happy that they're pain free. As for being there when he passed, as hard as it was, I think it's the right thing for both you and him. He'll greet you on the other side...
