Chicago wanted him dead they were going to pulverize him if they didn't sneak him out of the stadium and he had death threats. He hasn't made himself available to media and he has been offered Hundreds of thousands of dollars just for an interview and tickets to the WS if Cubs ever go. Well he didn't take em up for that offer. I believe he just wants to be left alone and have nothing to do with Chicago and I don't blame him. I have great respect for Bartman not wanting any of the attention he had done nothing to deserve any of that kind of harassment during the game and on tv or any of it. |
From what I've heard he still goes to Cubs games, but its been so long that he can do it without fear of anything because no one recognizes him.
