Now had Foles been in the league 10 years, and had a shit start in the first 5, and good showing in his last 5, that last 5 would be a more accurate indicator of the QB he is today.
As it is, if being reasonable, studying a QB's career path of recent years far outweighs the years of distant past.
Foles is in yr 5 now.. and should only be judged on those years.
Smith is in yr 12 now.. and should only be judged on his recent years.
If one is being fair and trying to discern what this Qb can bring a team today.
Foles has one great yr and then a concerning few. Smith has a steady and solid 5.
