I think the fact that the UFC didn't want him to fight Diaz anyway, and they wanted him to defend his belt at 200 has a lot to do with it. Conor insisted on the immediate meaningless rematch with Diaz at 170, and its like "ok fine, then come to Vegas and help us sell that rematch that no one is excited for. You won't do that? Fine screw you then, you are off the card."
I assume they have GSP coming back for 200 as well.
