He wasn't in an enviable position tonight, but he's never been able to tell a very good story in the ring because he tries to give the match an epic feel without letting the drama build organically. It's just high impact, sell for two minutes, high impact, sell for two minutes, etc.

He has one of the better ring psychologies of anyone in the business.
The only problem has ever been was he would bury people over the years with sledgehammer (Mick Foley, Booker T, CM Punk, etc) when they all should have went over.
The only one he ever did right was Daniel Bryan. But HHH still tells a great story up until the end.
Except for whatever the hell we just watched.
